Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Logent Publisher ("we", "us", "the Service") collects, how it is used, and the choices available to the people whose accounts and content the Service works with. Logent Publisher is the in-house publishing platform of our content studio. It is used by our own team to publish our own original video content to our own channels on TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram.
1. Information we collect
- Connected account information. When a social media account is connected to the Service, we receive basic account information from that platform through its official API — such as the account name, username, account ID and profile picture — so we can identify which channel a publish action belongs to.
- Authorisation tokens. Connecting an account issues OAuth access tokens from the platform. These tokens are what allow the Service to publish on the account's behalf. Tokens are stored encrypted on our servers. We never ask for, receive, or store platform passwords.
- Content and media. Videos, images, captions and scheduling information that our team uploads to the Service for publishing, together with the publishing results (post IDs, URLs, timestamps) returned by the platforms.
- Basic technical logs. Server logs of requests and publishing operations, including timestamps, the action performed, and success or error results, kept so we can operate, secure and troubleshoot the Service.
- Website usage. This website is a static informational site. It does not set advertising cookies and does not run third-party analytics or tracking.
2. How we use information
- To publish, schedule and verify content that the account owner has authorised us to post to their own accounts.
- To operate, maintain and secure the Service, including preventing abuse and diagnosing failures.
- To keep records of what was published, where and when, for our own channel management.
We do not use connected account data to post anything the account owner has not authorised, and we do not access data from accounts that are not connected to the Service.
3. We do not sell data
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information to anyone, and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Third-party platforms
The Service works through the official APIs of TikTok, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google (YouTube). When content is published, the video, caption and related metadata are sent to the platform(s) selected by our team, where they are handled under that platform's own privacy policy and terms. Each platform's handling of account data is governed by its own policies:
- TikTok — Privacy Policy at tiktok.com/legal/privacy-policy
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — Privacy Policy at facebook.com/privacy/policy
- Google (YouTube) — Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy
Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Our use of TikTok and Meta APIs follows those platforms' developer terms and policies.
5. Retention and deletion
We keep connected account information and tokens only while the account remains connected to the Service. Disconnecting an account deletes its stored tokens. Published content records (post IDs and URLs) are kept as part of our channel records. Anyone whose information we hold may request its deletion at any time by contacting us at support@logent.io; we will delete the requested information from the Service within 30 days, except where a platform's own records or a legal obligation require otherwise.
6. Security
Tokens are stored encrypted at rest, access to the Service is restricted to our own team, and connections between the Service and platform APIs use encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS).
7. Children
The Service is an internal publishing tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page and update the date at the top.
